Solitary Walk on Sunday Afternoon

Staring at the Water that flows

As Everything does in this World

But - alas! - not Everybody knows

The Eternal Truth told by Heraclitus

Two thousand and a half years ago

Whatever you think, do or say

Everything flows, panta rhei

Whether you are sombre or gay

Everything flows, panta rhei

So, why waste Life?

Time never stops:

It flows like Water

And never comes back
